How Teladoc works for Assurant Health policyholders
- Teladoc connects you with a board–certified, state–licensed, primary care physician who lives and operates in the U.S.
- Consultations are completed over the phone and cost $35 each.
- Consultation fees are covered by your Assurant Health plan, subject to deductible and coinsurance.
- Payment is quick and secure via credit card or HSA debit card at the time of service.
When you go online or call to request medical advice, a physician reviews your previous medical history and typically calls you within an hour. The physician will recommend treatment, update your medical file and prescribe medication when appropriate.
